These 3D printed Droid Head lamps are inspired by those found in certain areas of the Black Spire Outpost at Galaxy's Edge! We currently have R2, R5, and BT-1 models available with more models on the way! The R2 and R5 heads are based on the models by Nikko Industries and used with permission. BT-1 head is based on the model by doesnotfempute on Thingiverse.
Each head is hand painted so coloring and weathering will vary. If you have a preference for color scheme or level of weathering, please put it in your order notes or send us a message to discuss your custom paint job! R5 and Bt-1 heads show unpainted examples, purchased heads will be fully painted.
Three options are available:
- Bare Droid Head with no lighting, standard 40 mm hole for a hanging lamp fixture.
- Droid Head with Plug-in light fixture (UL Listed, 13.2 Feet Textile Braided Cord, on/off switch, standard E26/E27 medium size base)
- Droid Head with Hardwired light fixture (UL Listed, 47.2 inch adjustable cable, mounting hardware, standard E26/E27 medium size base)
ALL options include the droid head - photos just detail the lighting style.
Because these lamps domes are 3D printed, they are only for use with LED bulbs otherwise deformation of the lamp may occur from excessive heat.
R2 Head is 235 mm in diameter and 150 mm tall, approximately half-scale.
R5 Head is 235 mm in diameter and 240 mm tall, approximately half-scale.
BT Head is 215 mm in diameter and 215 mm tall, approximately half-scale.
