Good pattern design and great small business

I had been looking for a pattern for my Shin cosplay I've been working on and had this one saved for many moons, but finally worked up the courage to believe in my sewing skills and buy it. The pattern was sent very quickly and was easy to download. It was fairly easy to print- the multiple files in the .zip were a bit confusing at first but we figured it out. Super easy to line up and tape the pattern together, the blue stars were very helpful in getting all the pieces together, and the page-by-page was nice. Would definitely recommend printing in color as you will have a very hard time otherwise. I'm typically a size 6 US and my measurements matched up pretty well with the pattern's size 6 so I went with that one. Keep in mind how much ease you want the vest to have when you're picking a size- in my case I wanted it to be pretty fitted. The bias lines were clearly marked and stay-stitch lines were also marked well, although it did get a bit confusing when compared to the darts. The accompanying picture set is also very helpful and helped me get a much better sense of things. The instructions are thorough and even give you a way to lay out pattern pieces which was very helpful as a lot of them look similar and I didn't want to get confused. Currently doing a muslin mock-up to build up my confidence for the real deal, but if it goes well I'll include pictures here. I would say the intermediate/advanced label is pretty accurate, leaning more intermediate. Everything is defined clearly and the pattern makes sure you know what is what. And ofc always good to see a small business making amazing patterns and helping out us cosplayers :D hope this helps anyone else looking to use this pattern!
