We have designed and patterned out armor (chestplate, backplate, and pauldrons) inspired by The Armorer (from The Mandalorian). This pattern is intended for use with EVA foam, but could be used for other materials as well at your own discretion.
This download includes a printable pattern for the armor. We recommend that you print these pages in color for easier assembly. There are both Letter and A4 patterns available to choose from after purchasing.
Materials needed:
6mm EVA Foam
4mm EVA Foam
2mm EVA Foam
1/2” Foam half dowels (Neck and Bottom Edge Detail)
1 x 1” wide popsicle stick or balsa wood
Utility blade
Blade sharpener
Contact cement (We use and recommend Barge)
Optional: 18 gauge covered wire (Floral Stem Wire) to stabilize edges
We highly recommend SKS Props HD Foam for foam armor and props.
