UPDATED: This pattern is now graded for 7 neck sizes from 10" to 16".

We have designed and patterned out an easy to use neck seal pattern for your Space Mercenary costume. We designed this specifically for The Armorer (from The Mandalorian), but it can be used and customized for any Merc costume (and probably many other uses as well!) Photos show two different neck seals made using this pattern - one with a Velcro closure and one with a snap closure.

This download includes a printable pattern for the neck seal. The pattern is graded for 7 neck sizes from 10" to 16" but can still be manually scaled up and down further if needed.

We recommend that you print these pages in color for easier assembly. There are both Letter and A4 patterns included.

Materials needed:

  • 1 yard of fabric (light to medium weight)
  • 1 yard lightweight fusable interfacing
  • 1 inch wide sew in Velcro or 3 to 4 snaps Thread

An order is for a pattern for your own personal use ONLY. By purchasing and downloading our pattern, you are agreeing to these license terms. If you are interested in selling finished items made from this pattern, check out our Maker Tier Patreon.

We have a photo visual guide on our website to supplement the pattern and instructions here:

The pattern itself is really good. But the bigest minus here is that there is no A0 file, as the home printers do not print on the edges - they start printing about 3-5mm from the edge - because of that i still am not sure if the size is correct. And therefore i have problem with correct grading.
