We have designed and patterned out a M1 Helmet cover pattern. We designed this specifically inspired by the Rebel Trooper helmets from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it can be used and customized for any M1 helmet. Photos show what a finished cover looks like and what a fully finished Rogue One helmet looks like (made by Allen Amis Creations)
This download includes a printable pattern for the helmet cover ONLY.
We recommend that you print these pages in color for easier assembly. There are both Letter and A4 patterns included.
Materials needed:
- 1 Yd 45” wide medium weight Cotton or Canvas
- Quilt batting for padded top (We used a double layer of 1 loft quilters batting)
- Fusible interfacing or fabric scraps for button hole backing
- 3/4” wide double fold bias tape (add 1/4 yd when purchasing fabric if making bias tape)
- Thread
