We are very happy to announce the launch of our modular custom Ubese Resin Cast Helmet pre-order! We used the 3D models from Creative Mechanics (with permission), made a few slight modifications here and there, and are molding and casting all of the pieces.
Note: This is a pre-order! The photos show the current state of all of the masters with the exception of the snouts which are already molded and cast. We are on target to complete the remaining molds by the end of November at the latest, with the first run of 10 helmets shipping in December, if not sooner.
Option Details:
Choose your snout style and the accessory package you want. Each helmet includes one snout and the base accessory bundle or the vented accessory bundle.
Can't decide? Go with the All-In option and receive all accessories and snouts!
Snouts A, B, and D come in 2 parts - the main snout and the front greeble to make painting and finishing easier. Snout C comes in 4 parts as there are 3 greeble options included.
This helmet is one of our larger helmets to ensure folks with bigger heads or those, like us, who need to wear glasses inside, would not have any issues! See scale photo reference.
Approximate helmet size:
- Width - 300 mm
- Depth (front of helmet where snout attaches to back of helmet) - 320 mm
- Height (bottom of snout to crown of helmet) - 277 mm
- Base Opening - 180 mm wide at ears, 305 mm front to back
All parts will be resin cast. Helmets will need minor trimming and finishing work like any resin kit, including cutting out the visor openings. If you are interested in a fully finished helmet, we are always open to commissions for finished work.
